Halloween

We had a lot of fun being creative with our pumpkins this year. Brandon was the only one that actually carved a pumpkin. Makylie and I decided to try and put glitter on our pumpkins. We think they turned out pretty cute. Kason painted his pumpkin to look like a scary pirate and Drake colored his cute little Spider! We all love this fun tradition!

Kason has learned a new trick that he is pretty proud of. Blowing bubbles with his gum. I came home from work the night before we carved pumpkins and he was so excited to show me his new trick his dad taught him. He will be looking forward to all the gum he gets in his trick-or-treat bag!

I guess it is about time to post something that is not about the snow. I am sure that everyone is as excited as I am to finally (hopefully) be done with the snow!! Utah, who knows?

I would love to be posting outside pictures since it has been so nice outside but, I am not so lucky. I am just posting pictures of my kids ruining my house as they seem to always do.

This morning I was in the shower when Kason came in to tell me "MOM! You have GOT to come see Drake he has your make-up ALL over him!" I hurried as fast as I could to get out of the shower and find my camera. Oh my, he had found the worst type of make-up to have all over everything. Yip, it was lip stick. He looked so cute though!! That color fit him perfect, the pink/red hair sticking straight out was the best!!

I
About a couple of months ago Drake decided to stir the desitan with his binki, rub it in the carpet, taste it and touched anything and everything he possibly could with his covered in desitin hands. Let me just tell you, that stuff is impossible to get out of carpet! Will I ever survive being a mom or will my kids ever survive me being their mom?

Enjoying all the Snow!

During Christmas vacation we decided to take our kids to Brandon's family cabin. It was a lot of fun! Sledding there is awesome. We sled down the road for about a half mile then Brandon would pull us back up the hill with the snowmobile. I think Makylie had the most fun of us all she couldn't get enough sledding in. Kason wasn't sure what to think of sledding he liked the first time he went down with me but after he went with Brandon he decided he would rather ride on the four wheeler or snowmobile. Drake surprised me how good he was he didn't even say a peep most of the day(even without his bink). He was really cute though in his Ralphy outfit that he could barely move in. We drove down later to pickup Brandon's Mom and Dad. I think Rod thought I was a crazy driver on the snowmobile he claims I almost lost him a couple of times (Sorry Rod). They came up and had dinner with us it was a lot of fun! When we left the cabin Makylie and I decided to sled down the hill to the truck in the dark. I also took Drake with me in my sled. That was the best sledding of the whole day it was probably about a mile and a half straight down hill with no stops other than makylie's few wrecks. By the time we got down to the trucks Drake had fallen asleep he must have enjoyed it too.

Drake's Walking

Drake is cruising every where! Everyone that sees him walk says the same thing " He seems to little to walk." (He is little dude to begin with let alone walking early.) Drake started to walk to and from things at 9 months old. He decided to give up crawling and just walk at 10 months. At 11 months he is now trying to run! He is such a crazy guy. Ever since he was old enough to move he was trying to climb over my head, out of my arms and never let me change his diaper in peace. I am a little nervous to see what the future is going to bring. I thought Kason was a wild man but I think Drake is going to give him a run for his money. Let me just tell you what I am talking about when I say wild. For instance this last week alone Kason colored all over my house with black permanent marker I am talking 3 doors, base boards, walls in his and Drakes room and the family room, on the end table, the coffee table, entertainment center and on Drakes window sill all in the time I was in the shower. I was so mad!! He got in big trouble! The rest of the day he kept asking me "Mom, are you still mad at me? Mine won't do it ever again." (Kason has already colored on my coffee table two other times, but this one stole the cake.) Then the next day when I got out of the shower I went in his room and found him with a pair of scissors giving his teddy bear a hair cut. I didn't think that was to bad until I discovered that he had given himself a hair cut and cut the top of his sheet into small pieces. I hope I survive having boys.
